During October we harvest our nursery ponds which contain the Koi that we have bred during the spring and summer. These will vary in size from 2 - 6 inches on average and will be the result of spawning several different varieties. In 2008 we bred Sanke, Showa, Doitsu Yamatonishiki, Chagoi, Shusui, Shiro Utsuri and Kohaku. Just a few of these Koi are kept by us for growing on and the remainder are made available for sale at the beginning of November, once they have been sized and become accustomed to living in a re-ciruclation system.
We already have a few small koi for sale and these will also be available on our Autumn Harvest Day on 28th September.

If you are looking for some small koi to grow on over the winter these are ideal. You can choose to buy a large quantity of our selection, in which case we will provide you with a nice mix of all the varieites available at the size you are interested in, or you can hand select each Koi yourself, the choice is yours. We do not send Koi by overnight courier, so you will need to collect them personally or we can arrange for a same day courier at additional cost, depending on where in the country you live.
