Showa Development

I have taken a few pictures recently of some of our Tosai which we are growing on in our hot house and came across one Showa that I happen to have also taken a picture of when it first went in to the hot house in December.

It has developed quite a bit in a short space of time, which is quite interesting, so I thought I'd share it with you.

I didn't measure it as we got out a big scoop of fish just for fun really, I took a load of photos and we measured a few and I would say that on average they are growing about and an inch a month. We didn't heat them up until January, we have three tanks in our Tosai hot house with a different size of fish in each tank. This one is from the middle tank which were around 4-5 inch when they went in.

We are really pleased with the Showa, the black is really developing well on them, another thing we are really pleased about is the skin quality on the Tosai in general, some other pictures below show what I mean.
