We harvested and selected these Kohaku yesterday, they are from Matsunoske female and males and we harvested about 40,000 at first selection then at second selection put back around 1500 into the mud pond.

They are now around 4-5 inches long and were bred at the same time as the Sanke and Showa; in June 05. We had quite a few Tancho, which is always nice, although overall, as we also got some Kohaku in the Sanke and Showa spawnings, we could afford to be really strict on these and so didn't keep many to grow on.

We selected them at the same time as the Sanke and so ran out of time for too many photo's here are a few though.
